type='text'>I have been thinking again...oh no!

The last couple of years have been really eye opening for me. I have noticed so much that I almost wish I could just drop everything I have been working on for 6 years and move onto a different stage in my life. I feel incomplte not doing more. More with myself. I feel I have a greater purpose. I know I have a purpose as a mother and a sister and daughter granddaughter and all that but I am talking about the greater purpose that describes people's lives that did more and made the world notice things they never would have noticed before. I have been frustrated by the same issues Occupy Wall Street is frustrated with but now frustration has turned to anger and anger to rage, and rage to pure disobedience to every norm we are taught to follow. There has not been an uprising in this nation since who knows when. I even tried to just look it up and all I got on Google was results of Arab Spring and the protests in Libya, Egypt, Syria and so forth. Pretty interesting huh?? I put in when was the last uprising in US History and those are the results I got. Oh and slave uprising was another result.
This country has always been for the rich if you think about it. The working poor have been fighting against rules and laws that oppress them for hundreds of years but that is not even unique at all to the United States. Great Britian, now United Kingdom, France, everywhere, Europe, Africa, and Asia, all over the world. The United States ranks 24th out of 30 industrialized nations in our students academic skills. 37th ranking in our health care system, link below:
http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp0910064
The very entity, which is education, that will ensure the progress of our nation in every way is the very entity that will be gripped by corporate greed. Instead of our schools being run by school districts, corporations will come in and make our schools run by businesses then in turn that will create more poverty because when a corporation runs an institution, nothing is free so they will start charging us for every little thing we need to ensure our child is educated. There is an issue in every single inner city school in this nation and that is the lack of commitment and lack of dealing with the issues outside of the school that will ensure that it stay in the condition that it is in. Lack of decent teachers, lack of funding, lack of parental involvement, lack of commitment from staff and administrators, the list goes on and on.
Every institution serves a purpose, and I believe the idea of these institutions in this nation were invented to serve one population and one population only. That is the wealthy, white-European, population. It has always been that way. There have been presidents whom came from a modest background and Senators who are completely dedicated to their job as a representative of their country and their community but corporate involvement economically and fundamentally in the government is the core of the problem in our modern day.

how are we going to cover this?

oh my gosh did you see the news,
How are Meaning: If somebody is gay, I am not offended, I do not feel they owe an explanation to myself or the rest of society, nor do I think that a homosexual deserves to be ostracisized from society for their sexual preference. I do not believe gay people are sexual deviants, I do not feel that gay people have a choice in what their sexual preference is. If someone is gay they are gay and there is no hiding it. Even if a man is married for 20 years and has children and maybe even grandchildren and he is truly gay it will come out. He will not live his entire life in the lie of being married to a woman. Denying one their right to their sexual preference is like denying their right to breath. Another example: I am fascinated by people whom make no excuses for their life, their beliefs, regardless of what others may say or do to them. The person who can be totally open about what is in their mind is the person who can understand themselves and the world around them better. Fear comes from that which we do not know. Fear of the unknown is the driving force behind many issues in America today. Religion in America has a tinge of fear to it because if one is not religious it is almost impossible to get someone who is to believe that you are a rational person. So fear is created for people who are not adherent to God and christianity of any kind. There is fear on the end of the religious toward the non-religious and vise-versa. Back to the concept of being what you are. Isn't it a lie if one does not live to what they feel inside they are as a person? Isn't it a blatant lie to ones self if they do not adhere to their own indoctrinations about life and the world around them. All this is coming from my crazy mind of course as some may say but really my point is directed toward those who judge others, those who do not keep an open mind, those who view people who are different from them as bad. My obsession lately has been: Why do human beings hold judgement for those who are what they are: gay, handicapped, disabled, psycholgically or physically impaired in anyway, all people, all categories and types??? Why is there a fear in this country to accept. Not reject. I am sure people could refute me and say that this there is no problem and I am negative and overreacting yet think about this, why don't we focus on fixing problems instead of worrying about if a woman does with her body what she pleases. Issues in the government have been stalemated because of this issues alone. Abortion. I can see the points of prolife supporters, the positive points are many, yet our bodies are like our opinions, they are what they are and they are there for us to do with them as we wish. I don't even know who I am writing too but I know that I have to get this out. Logic in my mind is scarce right now when it comes to my opiniosn regarding sorting them and finding hat to use to present to the world.
sustainability

It is kind of a hard word to say and spell yet it is a very important word in our world today. There are truly hundreds of companies who research and support sustainability from corporate and human to environmental. Let's call sustainability something else from now on because it is such a difficult word to type over and over again. Let's call it: long term, basically, how to make things last. That is all it is anyways right? People researching how to make things last. Let's face it if one does not know how to make a corporation last it will fail hence why people need things such as long term , how to make things last, research analysts whom pay scientists, and many other people to promote long term effectiveness. What about long term effectiveness in long term environmental solutions?

Long term goals for our earth for instance are researched and analyzed by hundreds of people who have PHD's in environmental areas of study, such as marine biology or those scientists who study litter in the ocean, I can't remember what they are called. Anyways, millions of dollars is put into answering the question : How do we make the earth last? Well you can probably think of many solutions off the top of your head that would help the earth. So can I, stop littering so the ocean can be clean so the sea animals and fish can have sustainability, stop littering so the giant hundred mile long rings of garbage in the ocean can start to maybe be eliminated. Not littering is at the top of my list for sure. But what about the rain forests, extinct animals and plants, the oceans fish which are literally, no pun intended, being fished off of the earth.

What about the pollution which is giving people cancer in China? What about the logging operations which not everywhere, but in a lot of places, are stealing animals homes and forcing them to move or die. Wow we humans are pretty apt to kick anyone or anything out of whatever we think is ours. I know we live in our modern day and we have our cell phones and our computers, which I am using right now!, and our nice clothes, our nice cars, we have all our manmade prized possessions at our disposal and all we have to do to is not litter or find ways to better dispose of our waste and we don't do it. Instead we, humans, hire people to figure out what went wrong, what we can do better, and all the while the real problems are in our faces. If you thought I was joking about the rings of waste in the worlds oceans, look it up. It is a real thing. Our toothbrushes, hairbrushes, milk jugs, pop bottles, nail files, computer and cell phone batteries, and other parts, we can't recycle everything. Can you imagine how many people in the world own toothbrushes, or drink from milk cartons, or use nail files, or throw away cell phone and computer parts. That is just the beginning. Why not be aware?

I figure the more I know the more I am armed with to go out against the world we live in. The world that has it granduers, it's chaos, it's beauty, and it's pain.....And littering doesn't just mean the little gum wrapper you throw out the car window either, we are littering all the waste we use everyday all over the earth. I am guilty, you are guilty, now how can we all live a little smarter? I think just by educating your self, you get smarter: get it.

discovery

unscripted
unbridled
crafty in my delivery
constant mind maneuvers
go on all the time
given the chance
to be one with another
Going far to the farthest reaches to discover
what? roaring ocean someday
from the African Savannah to Cambodia to China, what happens when the cycle ends
when all the beautiful moist cherished gold is gone
and those places where woman search all day for water for their children, when that last drop is gone
It is gone forever
all the water in the world goes in a cycle and gradually it is Ganges River is a holy river and now it is a holy polluted river
it's water cannot sustain anyone
It can only be holy water for the holy
even water now is commercialized as we drink it from our stores in our bottles
then we throw them away and the very places that have no water or have bad water get to suffer
as we throw our plastic away
that holds our water

a person can live longer without water than they can without food.

check out this link to learn more about is quite shocking,
Even though we see the proof right in front of our faces,
Skeletons that will wake up the world are now coming out,
Taunting skeletons who keep spools of history rolled up under their dark sleeves,
They come and show us destruction based on belief,
Oppression being opposed and the want of freedom drives people to kill or be killed,
The skeletons cannot speak but they can move slowly like ghosts,
Taunting with their secrets,
They taunt like daunting demons,
That stay with a person their entire life,
from childhood to adulthood the demon taunts and daunts until one day it has become too much,
And then those who are taunted strike back at the skeleton,
They strike back and set forth the tide that will carry the world from now on,
Tides of war, disease, catastrophic events will leave people dead in massive numbers,
But this is just the beginning of this skeleton coming out,
Now the people will taunt the writers of the spools to change or accept their fate.
Casualties

We are all the casualties of government control and power,
Yet we do need their help,
Aren't we though, entitled to make decisions along with the government,
It seems less and less like that everyday,
Democracy is becoming just another tool to control people,
Now Michigan's new governor is putting the problems of the entire state on the poor people and working people,
There is now rich and poor, no middle class,
the middle class built this state,
Now the jobs our elder family members had in the industrial era are gone,
We are all casualities of a globalized connected world,
It is great to be connected but some suffe more the more we advance in technology,
Some succeed less and less while some feed off of that to become millionaires,
Amazing MI, I am glad I got to see this in my lifetime because my say it on a commercial, we are supposed to believe it,
Is your leg moving uncontrollably? Do you have a twitch?
Do your eyelashes need to be longer? How about your butt?
Does it need to be bigger or smaller?
Is your sex life ok?
How about your breasts? Do they need to be bigger, smaller, or just more perky?
Do you have arthritis? Bad gas? Back pain? Low back pain? Upper back pain?
Everything is supposed to make us better, and there is a medication, a product, or a surgery for everything mentioned above,
Do you have night sweats? Do you feel depressed?
Does your mind wander when you are at work?
Do you need help to sleep? Wake up?
Now we have all these medications, products, and surgeries for anything and everything, I could sit here all day and name the illnesses we are told we have, maybe some of us do, but not all,
I could sit here all day and name the different surgeries we are told by the media and Hollywood that we need,
But do we need any of it?
Aren't we beautiful just the way we are?
Fat skinny big small short tall buckteeth no teeth fake teeth fake hair real hair pail or dark skin,
We all are different,
And we are all important,
I think the girls we consider the ugly ones should be captain of the cheerleading squad! Could you imagine the self esteem boost that would have for other girls?
I think the boy who is scrawny and other people think is weird should be the boy who gets the girl, because he will respect and honor her, I wish that the pretty girl would care,
I think that the single mom whom is so intelligent but has always been at the bottom rungs of society should be the CEO of the largest corporation on earth,
I think that she should also run for President, because if she can mold and shape more than one human being into a positive productive member of society than she can run the country! forward
Yesterday I saw what could have been a bad life
She was all alone walking with a bunch of kids in tow
There is probably more than one father out and about in the world
Not giving a damn about the outcome of his children's lives
I see what I could have been in the young ignorant girls attracting men
for the <span future is bright and my mind is brighter
The knowledge I have obtained thus far in life
Is enough to get me through until the end
Yet I cannot and will not stop obtaining knowledge good or bad
Knowledge is power my Uncle once told me
I have never forgotten those powerful yet short words
They have affected my entire life
I now know that there are consequences to choices, good or bad
There are consequences to feelings, good or bad, especially when a thought and theory often follow the feelings
MY BELIEFS!

sparked by Larry Neitzert's HIS421 class discussion!

I do not believe that the government has any right to spy on me, state or federal, it is a violation of my human rights. I have the right to sleep, eat, talk, make love, do whatever I want within my own walls. Republicans want small government and they want the right to spy on people? The Democrats want big government and claim to want to make the economy better but want to spend billions of dollars on a pointless war!

I am so sick of hearing the Republican and the Democrat view in this country about every issue.

Why can't it just be our government as a whole that wants to solve problems? The economy, war, housing crisis, unemployment, etc. There are too many serious issues at hand right now to be playing sides. I hope they see this?

I am not sure what a liberal is? Maybe I should ask Mr. Neitzert? I do not consider myself a Democrat anymore because Mr. Neitzert was right all that label is is to get someone elected.
I guess my beliefs are radical, I would say 90% of people do not agree with my beliefs. Is it just the area I live in or what?

Or am I crazy? If I state my opinion on education in the U.S. race relations, religion, these are all forbidden topics. Why? Can we not as Americans debate and talk about our beliefs? Human rights means not being violated by the government. It means that I am not violated or oppressed by my government which represents me as an American!

Lets explore on of my radical crazy beliefs: Then you tell me your opinion on my opinion.

Inner cities: I believe that the government in the past marginalized African American people and made it so they could not move into suburbs: There were actually rules put in place so real estate agents did not have to sell houses in predominantly white neighborhoods to black families. This problem does not go away overnight! HELLO>>>>>> Things like that last. I am not saying people do not have the ability to advance in this country because they obviously do but when an entire race is pushed out of society in every way and then they have to automatically just know how to get around the racist red tape that the government and people have created. This is reality. I know its the past but if we understand this past then understand race relations in this country a little better. If I express this particular belief when in a debate I would say that 90% of people would say I am anti American and that blacks have plenty of opportunities and I am just being racist against white people!

HOW RIDICULOUS! They are just the facts. The fact that African Americans were brutally discriminated against because of their culture and color does not go away overnight. Generations carry hate....black or white...... families carry hate......cultures, and I think it is not gone. If we understand we can try to make it better. Yes we have an African American president: But think about the little boy or girl who lives in the city of Detroit Mi or Flint Mi whom are scared because there was a drive by yesterday or their uncle got murdered and see if they think they could be president someday......We can change their perceptions on life....as a whole American society we can think differently and with less discrimination maybe people will see that we all have a common bond as Americans!!

How I went from his class to this discussion I do not know!!
Broken-Africa 9-24-10

A broken people
Destined to fulfill the destiny of the "white devil"
Emerging now as misunderstood
A broken people with a broken scattered culture
Noone can save them now
Exploitation and oppression
Take over the land and the suffering people
Exploitation even comes from within
It even seeps in via their own people.

A broken land
Used as a war ground for outside and inside forces
There is no way to successfully describe this
The land used to belong to the natives, even in the USA
and now it gets exploited
Used until it can be used no more, then cast away.
The people can no longer accept the land as their equal
Because the land is no longer theirs.

Africans have never tried to conquer other people
They have never traveled to distant seas
Or felt the use of their land as useful
The only way they are connected to the land anymore
Is to be its slave
They have never oppressed another whole culture and society
Other than the opes who have traded, enslaved, and burdened their own.

Now after colonialism, the land and people are at war
In a place where they never knew of God before
Now the people fight for those who are Christian
Or also those who are Muslim.

They have been converted to either one by a people who know nothing of Africa
They know nothing of their kind of struggle
There is post colonialism now
"Neo-colonialism"
A new term for a new era of leaders who were taught well, to well, by the white and Arab men before them.

Catch the knowledge of this ,
In your own empathetic consciousness
Praise knowledge for it is the only aspect of life that can be protected freely
People die for religion, ethnicity, and land wars,
And life goes on in Broken Africa
Missionaries doomed the broken with their good god fearing intent
How do I explain the word oppression:
I have never known the word.

Seperate the love from hate
It is all mixed up there
In the broken, currently unwavering continent
Hate drives oppression
And not knowing is fear as well
Just as Native Americans in North America were
Dutifully stripped of their heritage and culture.

Everyone knows this and yet no one understands, even I,
There is no solution to having to ring out wet sand
It is not possible
To ring out oil from water
Just as it is not possible to not see the evolution of Africa permeating into the world.

Note: This is not about every single country in Africe. Southern Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, and many more are in wars fought everyday, over land, religion, and there are more reasons. I have become quite obsessed with the reasons for this. I want to know what the blatant deep reasons for "The white mans" supposed responsibility to assimilate the entire world to democracy and Christianity. Beyond the obvious reasons of money, power, capital, . There has to be a deeper core concept that I am not getting about how some of these countries are now in Africa. And as I sad it is not all of Africa, but I have seen too much and researched so much that the blood shed and oppression of the people of the above said countries is undeniable. And now it is not white people doing it, maybe white people are but more behind the scenes while providing aid at that, it African-Christians and African-Muslims. There are many good aspects of Africa this is just a writing, a poem I wrote while in deep thought, I have not meant to offend anyone.
<img width='1' with the rain,
Little droplets of rain fall like the sweat off of a long distance runner,
Then after it sprinkles,
It is gone with the wind that gathers it up to be absorbed once again,
Rain is extinct,
When it does come it comes a lot then it disappears,
It comes in droves,
Then they scamper off,
The rain drops scamper desperately to the things that need them,
Trees, grass, fields, crops, people,
They fall,
Then they scamper to get to what needs them,
a new day

we all must begin to rethink our places in this world

we all think the goings on of the world don't apply to us
we evolve within ourselves but not as people of the world

we must rethink

there is never enough money to go around
not enough land or natural resources

we must move forward

there is never enough power or pain
they go hand in hand

to guide ourselves through this the fundamentals have to change
the very existence of our beliefs now have to change
and we have to evolve as people and not have different beliefs but overhaul the current ones

never is there enough love, war, or genocide

there will always be more,
people are funny
some think that global warming is a myth
some think that they have no say in the way of the world
the only way to have a say is to see reality

not the sugar coated mess we have gotten ourselves into
people don't see
maybe it is choice
maybe the blindness is choice guided by doubt

or even guilt

no one sees the demise of the earth
pollution
disease
mass natural disasters
genocide and ethnic cleansing of entire cultures of people
the decay of the social norms society has created over time
we have changed so much as a people
yet have also went back wards in so many ways

backwards regarding acceptance
yes things have changed and acceptance is better than it has ever been before
yet the reverse side which is hatred, and unacceptance
those things have remained in different forms
we must evolve

we must wake up and reverse the damage we have done
there is scientific evidence of global warming
regarding if the world has already had radical climate change in the past
that means nothing
the things that are happening now are 99.99999 percent caused by human activity
human expansion
human development
human existence

we can not exist as humans without causing problems and then after it is almost too late we acknowledge the problems and then try to fix them.

I do have faith in the world but fundamental change is coming and it may come in the form of a revolution against all that we have ever been told is the NORM.
<img width='1' height='1' history people with physical and mental disabilities have been abandoned at birth, banished from society, used as court jestors, drowned and burned during Nazi Germany, and still continue to be segregated, institutionalized, tortured in the name of behaviour management, abused, euthanized, and murdered. Now, for the first time, people with disabilities are taking their rightful place as fully contributing citizens, The danger is that we will respond with remediation and benevolence rather than equity and respect. And so we offer you:
A CREDO FOR SUPPORT
Do not see my disability as the problem,
Recognize that my disability is an attribute.

Do not see my disability as a deficit,
It is you who see me as deviant and helpless.

Do not try to fix me because I am not broken.
Support me. I can make my contribution to the community in my way.

Do not see me as your client. I am your fellow citizen.
See me as your neighbor. Remember, none of us can be self-sufficient.

Do not try to modify my behaviour.
Be still and listen. What you define as inappropriate may be my only attempt to communicate with you in the only way I can.

Do not try to change me, you have no right.
Help me learn, I want to know.

Do not hide your uncertainty behind professional distance.
Be a person who listens, and does not take my struggle away from me by trying.

Do not use theories and strategy on me.
Be with me. And when we struggle
with each other, let that give rise to self reflection.

Do not try to control me. I have a right to my power as a person.
What you call non-compliance or manipulation may
actually be the only way I can exert some control over my life.

Do not teach me to be obedient, submissive, and polite.
I need not feel entitled to say no if I am to protect myself.

Do not be charitable towards me.
The last thing the world needs is another Jerry Lewis,
Be my ally against those who exploit me for their own gratification.

Do not try to be my friend. I deserve more than that.
Get to know me we may become friends.

Do not help me, even if it does make you feel good.
Ask if I may need your help. let me show you how you can best assist me.

Do not admire me. A desire to live a full life does not warrant adoration.
Respect me, for respect presumes equity.

Do not tell, correct, and lead.
Listen, support, and follow.

Do not work on me.
Work with me.

(Dedicated to the memory of Tracy Latimer. 1995- WRITTEN BY: Norman Kune and Emma Van der Klift. type='text'>Through everything I have remained calm

I have remained calm through most occasions in my life. There have never been any flip outs or outrages, atleast major ones, that I can think of. Ofcourse I have been in arguments but I am referring to the moment after a trauma or crisis when most people have the sudden breakdown that is necessary at that moment. I have never expressed pain, fear, depression, or any horrible emotion I have been feeling for the last 11 years. I can not explain the pain, fear, or depression to anyone except that it is deep inside. I am happy yet depressed. I have finally accepted the fact that I am not going to just let go of old feelings with a shrug of the shoulders because I can't. There is no way. I tell myself things that people probably should not tell themselves. Considering that negative self talk is the worst thing one can do to themselves. It can take years to reverse the negative things that we tell ourselves. For instance, when I feel fat or whatever, I tell myself, you are so fat.....When something happens where I make a mistake or don't do something I am supposed to do, then I tell myself I am stupid. It's not right. and It's not something I am particularly proud of. Ignorance is bliss and isn't it more easy in life to deny issues. Posty Traumatic Stress Disorder is pretty serious and it affects millions of people everyday. It affects our soldiers coming home from war in Iraq, or that have come home from WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Desert Storm. It affects rape victims, assault victims, people that have suffered a loss in their lives due to murder or drug overdoses or whatever else you can think of. It is serious. There are so many ways that a person can close themselves off to the world and make it look like their ok while they keep closing and closing and closing themselves off. You know how they say when a person is a functional alcoholic, their family and friends will view him/her as not being that bad because they work, go to school, have families and take care of them. Somebody who functions with a mental illness is exactly like someone who functions with long term alcoholism. Actions become addicting instead of the alcohol though. The agony of knowing that there is a problem but are helpless to fix it. A person can be addicted to their own disorders, whether mental or physical. Actually I mentioned a second ago about letting go of old feelings, most of them are not old they are new stemming from old and back again like a regret that just keeps thowing itself in your face day after day. Most disorderly feelings come just out of nowhere. People say oh its normal, I know how you feel, or whatever, but everyone knows or atleast should know that no two people are exactly alike. My mental disorder could be your everyday life. Well I do not want it to be my everyday life. I am up and down, outside myself and in, on this side and that, and the most frustrating thing is that I thought when my life was like it is now I thought that was going to erase whatever used to be there but still remains. I thought finding a man and I love and want to be faithful to was going to make me all better. I thought reaching my goals, HAVING SET GOALS, was going solve it. I thought knowing my morals, values, and where I want to be with my education was going to just magically make my thoughts, regrets, and feelings change so I can think differently. you may be saying well give me an example, ok i'll come back and write more because I can't think of any while I am trying to. lol/././.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me:

Is there such a thing as free speech when at times of warfare people are silenced,

is there such a thing as that when a man cannot be gay in the military: don't ask don't tell

Is there such a thing as that when a person can oppose homosexuality in public but a man/woman opposing abortion is not stopped,

free speech exists until a person becomes a politician,

He/she must be conscious of every word,

free speech exists until one becomes the professor at a university or high school,

How can a nation go on with traitors in their midst who could defame the American name?

First Amendment: the right to free speech, freedom of the press

Freedom of the Press gives the power to one or many to dictate information,

Is this good or bad?

Freedom of the Press gives one or many the right to give it as they see it

reporters and journalists have a bias and this is a fact,

whoever they work for is their bias

It depends on the newspaper or magazine but whoever it is they all have on goal,

To sway people's thoughts and feelings one way or another,

story:
A dual-language school opens in NYC. There are already dual language schools pertaining to Chinese Americans, Mexican Americans, and this new one was to be Arab-American dual language. This was not a religious school, strictly developed to assist Arab American children in learning to speak English, along with otrher things that were not religion related. Debbie Almontaser was the appointed principal. Immediately the right wing extremists here in America attacked the school for being terrorist relatd and and of being an Islamic school which it was clearly not. This woman lost her job due to journalists who twisted her words and made her out to be a terrorist, that and a t-shirt killed her career. all because of a right wing journalist.....This is not the only example of things like this but you get the point....

In America we can be whatever we want whenever we want.....

In America we can speak out against racism, discrimination, and poverty, and injustice...

.But in America we cannot oppose war.....we cannot go against our government when it all comes down to it..

....Republican National Convention::2004

Protestors to the Iraq War gathered in NYC, home to the convention and were going to march for their views against the war.....

within 5 mins literally, the protestors were silenced.....police blockaded them and trapped them behind mesh orange lining that seemed to be especially made for the occasion.......

like a wall against the infidels who choose to go against their leaders and speak out against the regime....

NO this is not like a country that kills whoever speaks out against them but it is pretty sad when people cannot even carry a sign in the street in silence without being suppressed.

People can speak out against someone being a homosexual out in the open... yet we have to be quiet when our young African American's are being pulled over and searched because of the color of their skin...

obviously it does not happen every day of the week but lets face it it is a reality.....

People can worship their god in public catholic shrines.....outdoors..

...yet if one was to say that they did not believe in God they would be reprimanded openly, in public....

.freedom has constraints..........

freedom is overrated if you ask me........

outdoors

Peace
Tranquil
The river brings sustanance yet its broken from what is used to be
Beauty flows down river
Along with the current
That carries ducks and fish away
Looking down the river carries more than ducks and fish
It carries souls, memories, wishes, desires...
While looking down the river those thoughts flow seemlessly
Peace flows down river
Peace is not in plastic improvement, nor in larger endowments
It is in the flowing river and the chirping bird
The green grass and the stamping herd
The ebb of the horizon
Is also the ebb of our existence
Tranquility will not come through endless pairs of shoes, shiny cars, and pockets overflowing
It will not
It will come though the cemetery at night
While the shadows of animals are mistaken for spirits
Tranquility is attainable through the shell on the beach
It has floated a million miles to get to someone's feet
The bird and the whale all wish to live free
If they can't? type='text'>family

To give fault to one in a family is wrong,

Not one person is at fault,

But all within can find ways to make things better,

Relationships fail, whether family or not,

People fail, no matter who loves them or how much they are loved,

The conclusion drawn from childhood is that family is the entity from which success is formed,

But who thinks of family the same anymore,

There are cousins living with sisters who live with Uncles and Aunts

There are brothers and Great Neices singing the same chant,

There are step children living with grand parents of their step parent,

There are children all over the world who live with Grandparents,

Family is not the same which means our institutions must change,

The acceptance of the new rules brings greater understanding within ourselves,

There are black with white, Chinese with Mexican, Japanese with Salvadorian, Indian with Canadian,

You know I can go one forever,

Don't we always learn to embrace change,

Leap over it and overcome, come out on top,

Yet there are some values that seem to never die down,

The meaning of family is changing,

There are people who grew up with all their family close,

They then are deprived of those same people,

Because of change;;;;;because of family changes

Divorce and deceit,

Love that never flourished just died,

a bratty teenager who just needs a ride down life's possibilities,

Deprivation is not having what you love, Like starving children not getting some meat,

Like a man with no water stuck in the desert heat,

Not having what was once had little children who you watch grow then are gone,

In a flash,

Love doesn't die, life just changes,

People don't cry for their loved ones without changes

sadness can be the event of life for those who lose their laughing, beautiful, children that have to grow,,<br
